“Mums and Baby Ballet” by The Kensington Ballet School
“Mums and Baby Ballet” is a trade name run and managed by “The Kensington Ballet School” (KBS).
Term Fees
A term’s fee is payable in advance at the start of each term unless the parent is paying using the monthly subscription service.
Payment
There are three ways to pay
1. Term payment in advance using the online booking platform.
2. Monthly subscription using the online booking platform.
3. Term payment by Bank Transfer
Withdrawing a child from classes
The Kensington Ballet School (KBS) require four weeks’ notice to withdraw a child from classes.
Refund of term fees are at the discretion of management.
The school reserves the right to pursue parents for any unpaid fees owed via the courts or through other legal means.
”Catch-up” classes
We offer make up classes by pre-arrangement with management.
Missed classes cannot be carried forward from one term to the next.
Sibling & multiple class discounts
We offer a 25% sibling discount to any additional children when we have more than one child enrol from a family.
We offer a 25% discount on the cost of the SECOND class if children attend more than one class per week.
Timetable
KBS will endeavour to publish and maintain its timetable without variation through the course of the term.
We reserve the right to cancel or change the timetable midterm if circumstances dictate. Where this happens parents would be offered the option of a refund for unused classes.
Uniform
We expect parents to ensure that the children are correctly dressed and attired for the classes.
Liability & Safeguarding
All our ballet teachers are DBS checked and insured.
The Kensington Ballet School regards the safeguarding of children of paramount importance. We have a separate policy document for your attention in this regard.
KBS do not accept liability for personal injury to any child attending class, with the exception of such injury being caused by negligence or default of any member of our staff or any other default on our part.
KBS do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to personal property.
KBS do not accept responsibility for any loss or expense due to circumstances beyond our control.
KBS is only responsible for pupils while they are in their class. Children cannot be supervised whilst they are outside class. Young children must be collected promptly at the end of their class.
The Kensington Ballet School holds Public Liability Insurance.
Responsibilities of parent or guardian
Attendance at class is deemed to be acceptance of the current Terms and Conditions.
It is the responsibility of the parent to notify “The Kensington Ballet School” of any illness or injury that may affect the child’s participation at class.
It is the responsibility of the parent to ensure that we have the correct details for you and your child and keep us updated of any changes to health.
If your child is disruptive to other pupils or our teachers, we reserve the right to exclude your child from any activity within the school.
It is the parent’s responsibility to collect their child on time at the end of the class.
Photographs and video footage of pupils taken by KBS may be used on our website and for publicity purposes. If you do not wish your child’s image to be used for those purposes you must inform us in writing or opt out as per the enrolment procedure.
